slow living?

Slow living is a lifestyle philosophy that encourages a more mindful, intentional, and balanced approach to daily life. Laura, the owner of Live Well and creator of the immersion offerings, is passionate about the Mediterranean and its regions commitment to the slower living principals. She herself, can get caught up in doing the doing it all lifestyle, so it is a philosophy she holds in high regard and believes strongly in its ability to guide us in our quest for wellbeing and a regulated nervous system.

In today’s world, slowing down often means stepping away from constant digital noise. That’s why slow living and digital detox complement each other so beautifully. Both invite us to be fully present, to exchange scrolling for stillness, and notifications for true connection. By consciously taking breaks from our devices, we create the mental and emotional space needed to embrace the feeling present. A digital detox allows the nervous system to rest and reset, amplifying the practices of slow living and helping us re-discover the simple joys of real conversation, nature, nourishing food, and uninterrupted rest.

The key principles of slow living are intentionality, simplicity, mindfulness, connection, and sustainability, which are all a part of making conscious choices that support long term wellbeing.
